House on Blaketown Pond, Newfoundland
Private residence on a hill with a view to the north. The design pares the architecture down to essentials, maximizing views to the north while creating a wind-protected courtyard and garden to the south. The more public areas of the house are on the upper floor, with large sliding doors leading to wood decks, and bedrooms are on the lower floor but still have unobstructed views of the pond.
