Hayward Avenue Renovation
This detached house in Georgestown was once an addition to the back of a general store at the corner of William Street and Hayward Avenue, now a small public park. The house required extensive structural repairs as well as replacement of windows, doors, and the electrical and plumbing systems. After constructing new concrete foundations for the detached garage, a new main bedroom was added above the garage, connected by an enclosed second floor link. The Victorian fireplace is cast iron from England, sandblasted to remove many layers of paint.
